I strongly recommend it when players have quick Cast times or when players are able to get their Casts back quickly without having to pick them up. The Triple Tab becomes extra important when players are in the fourth area, right before Hades as dealing with rats gets annoying and having more of the ability to deal area damage is crucial. While this may not seem like a great upgrade to have, in my opinion it can be especially useful for players yielding the Heart-Seeking Bow as it can be difficult for to keep their health up when also being concerned with charging up their shots to deal damage. I would always take this, because its so powerful and makes using the Aspect of Guan Yu feel a lot more worth it, as it is by far one of the more difficult Weapon Aspects that players can choose. If players are running Aspect of Gilgamesh, they will be able to unlock Rending Claws an exclusive to this Aspect. Realistically Im not a huge fan of Charged Flight as I typically avoid dealing damage using my Special on the Shield of Chaos, mostly using it to apply Status Curses, however, this can be a great upgrade for players who are using it as a primary source of damage or as a regular secondary source of damage. Essentially with Cluster Bomb players will shoot out 5 Bombs using their Special, all at once in spread out pattern. Holding the attack button will block damage from the front, and releasing will perform a shield bash forwards, dealing damage to enemies hit. Although not automatic, being able to manually shoot your Special this many times is extremely powerful, especially if players are using their Special to boost their damage using Aspects. The best thing about the Hoarding Slash is it both affects the regular attack of a player as well as the Dash-Strike, meaning that players will be dealing bonus damage for almost all of their attacks. Essentially players can use this to ensure damage on enemies, especially if they are all lined up and its especially nice because it is not blockable. Dashing Flight will also provide players with 200% damage using their Special. It should be noted that some upgrades will not be available to a player if they are using certain Aspects with the Adamant Rail: Flurry Fire to me is a pretty good upgrade for players to choose, especially because it will provide players with 6 extra ammo and will allow players to deal damage more rapidly as well as more accurately. Players will always want to choose this upgrade as it is one of the best, though players should note that they will not be able to combine it with Explosive Fire or Seeking Fire. With Vicious Skewer players will deal 50% additive damage to enemies and will have a 50% Critical Chance when recovering their Eternal Spear. Dread Flight can be useful if players are stacking damage on their Special, though realistically the best use for it is if players have a Status Curse on their Special such as Hangover or Doom as using your Special primarily for damage isnt really a great option for the Shield of Chaos. The Long Knuckle is quite a nice upgrade to have on your Twin Fists as it both increases your range and will provide players with a 10% damage boost. Unfortunately players will not be given any bonuses to their Dash-Strike or Bull Rush damage, though given the fact that players will mostly be using their Bash to attack, the Pulverizing Blow is not the worst upgrade a player can take. In my opinion, as strong as this is, its not absolutely necessary, just makes life a lot easier. While it can be useful to be able to knock enemies into walls faster, the chances of having a wall around your or an enemy to do this on is sometimes sparing. Admittedly, there are some Aspects players will absolutely want to to put the Massive Spin on and I also have to admit that I need to get better at using my Spin Attack, because Im just a lazy bastard. Players will want to make sure if they want a good amount of healing to regularly weave their Special in and will also want to make sure that their Special has a good amount of damage as the Special takes a bit of time to charge, meaning that players cannot simply spam the Special to burst down enemies. Double Nova is a particular kind of upgrade in my opinion as it will allow players to deal damage with their Special twice in a row (automatically), however it takes away the Specials ability to Knockback enemies. If players are worried that they are not going to locate a Daedalus Hammer as a room reward, players can choose to visit Charon in any area that hasnt provided them with a Daedalus Hammer for a chance to purchase it for 200 Charons Obols before reaching the Temple of Styx. Being one of the only upgrades that has to do with a players Cast, the Unyielding Defense can be very useful for players who want a bit of extra security from damage and being interrupted. So if you're not spamming it then you might not notice it as much. This is essentially the same thing, with the purple tending to be more offensive powers and the green ones as more defensive or passive abilities. Essentially, Breaching Skewer will make it so a player rotates between attacking armoured enemies while trying to take down those whos Armour has already shattered. Power Rush is a hit and miss skill as players will want to ensure that they knock enemies into walls to deal even more damage, but at the end of the day with a 500% boost on this damage it still deals a good amount without smashing into a wall. In fact, you should probably wear the Dionysus accessory when starting a run with this shield so you dont have any chance of getting screwed by RNG. It's worth noting that the shield is capable of blocking nearly anything, including attacks from bosses, except for traps and AoE attacks. Its also great to note that the 90 damage can be modified with Special damage, meaning that players can essentially one shot some enemies if they are building correctly. Quite frankly, while there are other upgrades you can use to upgrade your damage and the speed of your Power Shot, Perfect Shot seems to be the most useful.
